Our Story, Our Passion

We’ve been around a while, A small retail store located in Brisbane, We’ve had a few locations, A few owners and a few different focuses over the years. We were just a scrappy little shop tucked away in Salisbury just before Toohey Forrest, small enough to miss if you blinked at the wrong intersection.
When we took over about 12 months ago, We weren’t keen to dust off the sign and keep rolling. We grabbed a knife, slashed through the deadwood, and rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up. We’re truthfully still going. New blood. New guts. New rules. Today, Trade Electrical isn’t about glitz and glam. It’s about showing up for the industry that raised us. It’s about knowing that just because you’re a sparkie doesn’t mean your learning stops at the apprenticeship. It’s about getting your hands dirty in the real work from the switchboard to the showroom.

We’re not just selling gear.

We’re reinvesting back into our trade, our people. That means: Product training for tradies and especially apprentices, because datasheets don’t don’t show how conduit performs in Queensland sun. Mental health support through TIACS, because you’re more than just your job title. TradeMutt shirts right off our shelves, because conversations change lives, and sometimes it starts with a bloody loud shirt. It also means Nosh-it our house brand. Yeah, depending on where you put the space, it says No Shit. But that’s not an accident. Because we believe good gear, sold at a fair price, should be the baseline not the bonus. No pretence. No massive margins. No BS. We don’t turn flashy profits we turn the wheel for the industry that feeds us. This is why we get up every morning. This is why we hammer away in the background while others chase shiny things.
